Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
- Lead staff training and development programs to enhance skills in food handling, cooking techniques, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and customer service excellence.
- Manage inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize waste, and ensure food safety standards are met.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, including balancing registers and managing financial transactions accurately.
- Coordinate shift schedules, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback to foster a motivated team environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff on food production standards, catering events, banquet services, and special menu offerings to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food service management within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Proven ability in supervising staff training, interviewing candidates, and developing team members’ skills in hospitality management.
- Expertise in inventory control, budgeting, food safety practices, and kitchen management techniques.
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques across various cuisines including catering and banquet services.
- Exceptional organizational skills for shift management, food handling oversight, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
