Room Attendant ($34.76/hr.) - InterContinental San Francisco

As a Room Attendant, you'll help create a fresh, welcoming space where guests can relax, recharge, or catch up on work after a busy day. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will ensure every room feels comfortable, inviting, and memorable.

What You'll Do

• Ensure guest rooms and suites are cleaned, refreshed, and presented to the highest standards, creating an exceptional experience for every guest.
• Deliver thoughtful service by assisting guests with requests, such as providing amenities or offering directions.
• Keep your supervisor informed of room status and promptly report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
• Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies and guest amenities while minimizing waste.
• Report, log, and safely store all lost-and-found items in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Wear your uniform professionally and represent the hotel with pride.
• Work collaboratively with housekeeping colleagues and other hotel departments to deliver outstanding guest service.
• Assist with deep-cleaning projects and turndown service as needed.
• Support the team with additional duties and special projects as assigned.
  
  

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys staying active, and is committed to providing outstanding service.

You'll have:

• A minimum of one year in the same or similar role.
• The ability to perform a physically active role, spending most of the day on your feet.
• The ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. (23 kg) and push or pull heavy equipment or objects.
• The flexibility to bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills, including reading, writing, and simple math.
• A flexible approach to scheduling, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
