Bar Supervisor

Duties

• Lead and supervise bar staff to ensure smooth daily operations, including shift management and team training
• Oversee food preparation and beverage service, maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation
• Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
• Ensure compliance with food handling regulations, health codes, and safety procedures across all bar activities
• Assist with kitchen management tasks related to food production, catering, and banquet services when needed
• Conduct staff interviews, training sessions, and performance evaluations to foster team development and excellence

Skills

• Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and quick service or fast-food restaurant environments
• Proven supervisory experience in restaurant or hospitality management roles with team leadership responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally and courteously
• Competence in inventory control, food safety management, and profit & loss analysis
• Effective communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing, training & development, and team management
• Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality and food quality
