What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver in Home for Special Needs Child position at IHC Support Services?
- Looking for caring and compassionate individual to provide 2 days of respite care per week for a teenager with special needs.
- Be able to provide services in the child's home.
- Have the ability to help with dressing and incontinence care when needed.
- Be able to prepare meals for a sensitive diet.
- Able to help stay with child's routine.
- Be available for the rest of summer 2 days a week and some days when there is no school.
- Be available for evenings and weekend respite care up to 16 hours a week.
- Be creative, fun and loving
- Have reliable transportation.
- Be reliable, honest, helpful and have a great work ethic
- Part time minimum 16 hrs per week
- Must be 25 years old or older.
- Preference to someone who has at least 5 yrs working with Down Syndrome individuals.
- Preference to someone who has at least 4 years of autism experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
