- Producing financial and market intelligence through querying data sources, and identify methodologies for data patterns and trends based on information sources.
- Analyze data and information to understand processes, trends, anomalies, and other relevant issues.
- Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business and operations data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Create intelligence tools, systems, or dashboards utilizing databases, spreadhseets, or other data sources. This position is not responsible for constructing large relational databases or data warehouses, or designing strategies for enterprise databases.
- Maintain or update tools, databases, dashboards, or other artifacts as needed.
- Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, and other tools.
- Communicate with customers, partners, and other internal employees to understand requirements and data needs.
- Present results of data analyses and modeling to partners and leaders, communicating meaning of data with recommendations.
- This position does not manage any direct reports.
- Knowledge of OracleSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or similar query languages.
- Knowledge of Business intelligence and data analysis software such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Excel, or other similar tools.
- Knowledge of Python, R, or other analysis languages.
- Knowledge of data analysis, including descriptive statistics such as average, median, and standard deviations, as well as understanding trends and seasonality.
- Knowledge of data quality and processing analysis, including null data, imputation, outlier values, data validation (front and back end), and data cleansing.
- Knowledge of functions within Excel such as pivot tables, lookups, and other formulas.
Salary (Annual): $98,925.00 to $108,925.00
Work Location: 36 S. State Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84111
Hours of work: Usually 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday
