- Performs clerical, reception, scheduling and patient financial account functions. Assists in coordinating primary health care services to a large outpatient client population. Retrieves, reviews and assigns and/or distributes all referrals/faxes. Verifies eligibility and status of referrals when appropriate for the physician office and/or member.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent is preferred. Previous training in general medical office skills and procedures. Proficient and knowledgeable of medical terminology.
- Experience: One to two year's experience is preferred. Recent physician office, hospital business office or background in claims or customer service required. Computer proficient and appropriate telephone etiquette skills required.
