MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is a 342 bed, regional referral teaching hospital in Mason City, Iowa. MercyOne New Hampton Medical Center is an 11 bed, rural access hospital in New Hampton, Iowa. Our service area spans 15 counties across northern Iowa and southern Minnesota. We serve a population over 260,000.
With more than 3,000 colleagues and a medical staff of almost 500 physicians and allied health professionals, MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is the largest employer in the region.
MercyOne Medical Group – North Iowa is part of Iowa’s largest multispecialty clinic systems. In north Iowa, our clinics are made up of more than 25 primary care, pediatric, internal medicine and specialty clinics.

- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Current Iowa RN license, (current IL license if working in IL) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within three (3) months of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within three (3) months of hire.
- Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter for both Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training is required within six (6) months of hire.
- Specialty practice certification is preferred..
- Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
- Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health and MercyOne.
