IGT is seeking an experienced Traffic Supervisor to take charge of our outbound logistics operations. You’ll lead a team of transportation professionals, overseeing daily operations with an eye toward cost control, efficiency, and full compliance with industry regulations. Based out of our IGT Reno campus, you’ll ensure every shipment and delivery is executed accurately and on time—anticipating and resolving challenges before they impact our customers. Working cross-functionally with other departments, you’ll help streamline processes, drive continuous improvement, and uphold our commitment to quality and performance excellence. To succeed, you’ll need a deep understanding of transportation logistics, proven leadership skills, and the ability to forge strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners. - Supervise daily transportation operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Manage and coordinate schedules for loading and unloading goods at various locations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies during transport activities.
- Ability to track and manage high value revenue projects.
- Mentor and educate direct reports on International import / export documentation and the US & foreign customs requirements.
- Facilitate shipments with carriers & freight forwarders.
- Ability to track and manage high value / revenue projects.
- Train and mentor staff in transportation best practices and industry compliance regulations.
- Developing and coordinating the IGT Transportation team, to ensure processes and procedures are adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation or logistics, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of transportation laws and regulations, including OSHA and DOT compliance.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various transportation duties.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate transportation data and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with team members, external vendors, and clients.
- Strong understanding of Truckload, Less-than-truckload, Air and Ocean transportation modes.
- SAP experience or knowledge.
- Small Parcel shipping experience.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified.

Salary : $50,482 - $115,000
