The Material Handler will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Reno distribution facility and general inventory control functions.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses . The Material Handler will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Reno distribution facility and general inventory control functions.
- Prepare shipping containers efficiently for order packaging, adhering to IGT’s quality standards.
- Verify orders meticulously to ensure accuracy and completeness, maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Serve as a dependable backup to the Distribution Center Supervisor, supporting seamless operations.
- Process packages using our state-of-the-art automated shipping systems, ensuring timely delivery of our products.
- Manage end-of-day courier shipment manifests accurately, facilitating smooth logistics operations.
- Safely operate various equipment/machines, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and vehicles, adhering to IGT’s safety protocols.
- Monitor stock levels for inventory items, assisting in inventory management to optimize efficiency.
- High School education or equivalent preferred
- 6 months to one year of related experience in a warehouse environment.
- Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks preferred, with a commitment to safety.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
