What are the responsibilities and job description for the Local Truck Driver (Non CDL) position at IGPS Logistics LLC?
Job Summary: Transport empty pallets to instructed locations with care and professionalism.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Get daily work assignments from Transportation Team.
- Check – in with Supervisor after each assignment to confirm any daily changes
- Pick up and deliver pallets to customers daily within 150-mile radius.
- Required to unload and reload pallets, with a pallet Jack from the depot or customers.
- RF scanning of iGPS pallets.
- Fill out required paperwork and turn in daily (BOLs, fuel receipt, driver’s sheet, etc.)
- Confirm the Bill of Lading (BOL) is correct (shipper, consignee, quantity, etc.)
- Assist on warehouse floor as needed.
- Complete daily driver logs via telematics.
- Pre and Post trip truck daily inspections via telematics.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Class B commercial driver’s License preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed indoors and outdoors in a workhouse setting with regular exposure to cold, heat, noise, and moving pallets. Must be able to lift 10 lbs., push and pull up to 13-25 lbs., lift, stand and carry consistently, have proper hearing, vision, and speech capabilities.
