Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The Space Intelligence Analyst supports HQ SpOC by integrating intelligence into space system development and operations, coordinating with the IC, informing strategic planning and exercises, and delivering timely analysis to guide decisions across all classification levels.
Key responsibilities include integrating intelligence into EW space programs across the weapon system lifecycle; serving as an intelligence SME in cross-functional working groups and coordinating with the IC to resolve ISR gaps; and supporting operational planning, PPBE, and intelligence product development, including threat assessments and classified briefings. Develop and validate RFIs, supporting capability documentation, contributing to exercises and campaign planning, and prepare staff responses to HHQ-directed RAP actions and evaluation message requests.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in intelligence operations, joint exercise planning, or Special Technical Operations support.
• Strong understanding of all-source intelligence-SIGINT, GEOINT, and OSINT methodologies
• Experience with performing technical analysis against target systems and networks, characterize target network capabilities and vulnerabilities, and support development of new techniques to exploit targets
• Familiarity with National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) and National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) intelligence analysis and production processes
• Experience providing RF signals environment analysis/assessments
• Experience in targeting, threat network analysis, and intelligence fusion operations
• Prior experience with Combatant Command, Service Component, or HQ-level operations planning.
• Proven experience supporting military HHQ Staff and operating within classified (SAP/SAR) space environments across Space Operations, Space Control, or EMSO mission areas.
• Strong understanding of HAF, USSF, MAJCOM, and Joint/Coalition processes, with demonstrated ability to collaborate across organizations such as Field Commands, SPOs, and Unified Commands.
• Experience supporting space-related or USSF/USAF missions highly desirable.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Active TS/SCI required. Must be willing to submit for a CI Polygraph if required.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree desired.
• Completion of relevant Intelligence Community (IC) or DoD analyst training desired.
• Joint Exercise Planning training or equivalent or JPME I/II or Space 100/200/300 coursework desired.
Other Requirements:
• Required: o Certified Space Intelligence Analyst (CSIA)
• Preferred: o AFIT Space System Certification
Salary Range: $126K - $132K
