We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Summer Intern to support our Chief Information Officer (IT) team. We are seeking a motivated and technically curious Summer IT Intern to support our Information Technology team in a fast-paced government contracting environment. This role offers hands-on experience supporting secure IT systems, troubleshooting user issues, and assisting with infrastructure that enables mission-critical programs for Government customers. The intern will gain exposure to cybersecurity practices, enterprise IT operations, and compliance requirements unique to defense contractors.
This position is expected to be two days a week for up to six weeks.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Assist with setting up, configuring, and maintaining laptops, desktops.
- Support user account management (e.g., account setup, password resets, access permissions)
- Help maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting and system monitoring
- Support implementation of cybersecurity policies and best practices
- Participate in software installations, updates, and patch management
- Assist in maintaining file systems, shared drives, and cloud-based tools
- Document IT procedures, troubleshooting guides, and user instructions
Job Requirements And Qualifications
- 1-2 years in secondary education from an accredited university; minimum 3.0 GPA
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Detail-oriented
- Works well in a team environment
