We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Summer Intern to support our Government Contracts Administration team. This role provides hands-on exposure to federal contracting processes, compliance requirements, and the lifecycle of Department of Defense (DoD) and other U.S. Government contracts. The intern will assist with contract documentation, regulatory compliance tracking, and internal coordination, gaining practical experience in a fast-paced defense contracting environment.
This position is expected to be two days a week for up to six weeks.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Assist in the preparation, review, and organization of government contract files and documentation
- Support contract administrators with tracking deliverables, deadlines, and contract modifications
- Help maintain contract compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS)
- Participate in reviewing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and contract awards
- Assist in data entry and management within contract management systems
- Support audits and internal reviews by organizing and validating documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, program management, and business development
- Conduct basic research on contract requirements, clauses, and regulatory updates
Job Requirements And Qualifications
- 1-2 years in secondary education from an accredited university; minimum 3.0 GPA
- Bachelor's degree in business management or administration, finance, accounting, government contracts or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
