Role Description
The In-House Counsel role at IGNITE Practice Growth is a full-time, hybrid position located in either Tampa or Jacksonville and includes travel. The selected candidate will oversee legal matters, including contract review, compliance with healthcare regulations, and risk management. Responsibilities include advising on corporate governance, regulatory frameworks, employment law, and transaction agreements, as well as collaborating with internal teams to assess legal risks and ensure adherence to laws. Additional duties may involve managing external counsel and implementing policies that support organizational growth while mitigating liabilities.
Qualifications
- Expertise in healthcare compliance regulations, corporate law, personal injury litigation and risk management
- Proficiency in contract drafting, review, and negotiating agreements
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven experience in managing external legal counsel and advising leadership teams
- JD degree with active license to practice law in Florida
