Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily export operations for both air and ocean shipments, including bookings with airlines, ocean carriers, and overseas agents
- Prepare and review export documentation, including MAWB/HAWB, MBL/HBL, commercial invoices, packing lists, and AES filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Ensure adherence to TSA air cargo security requirements and ocean export regulations, including FMC and U.S. export compliance standards
- Arrange cargo movement, including trucking, container drayage, warehouse handling, and port/airport coordination
- Track and monitor shipments from origin to final destination, proactively addressing delays or issues and communicating updates to stakeholders
- Review carrier and agent rate quotations; develop and provide accurate, competitive pricing to customers
- Issue invoices, validate shipment costs, and complete file closures with proper documentation and system updates
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Support import operations when required, including coordination with customs brokers and final delivery arrangements
- Ensure compliance with TSA, CBP, FMC, and internal SOPs across all export activities
- Experience in freight forwarding with strong exposure to both air and ocean export operations
- Knowledge of U.S. export regulations (AES, EAR, ITAR) and air/ocean shipping requirements
- Familiarity with TSA and FMC regulations
- Experience with CargoWise or similar logistics platforms preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
