Duties
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges with speed and precision
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product demos to enhance their shopping experience
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods responsibly while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing products, and ensuring displays are attractive and accessible
- Upsell products and promote store promotions to maximize sales opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette or in person, resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and merchandising tasks as needed
Experience
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team
- Ability to communicate effectively in bilingual settings enhances service delivery to diverse customers
