Key Responsibilities
Instructional Support & Coaching
Observe classrooms, provide coaching, and offer actionable feedback to teachers.
Support instructional planning, lesson design, differentiation, and classroom management practices.
Model effective instructional strategies and co-teach as needed.
Curriculum & Assessment
Review the school’s curriculum for alignment with California State Standards.
Assist in designing or refining pacing guides, intervention models, and assessment systems.
Analyze student data and help staff utilize data to drive instruction.
Professional Development
Plan and deliver high-quality professional development sessions for teachers and instructional staff.
Provide follow-up coaching and support to ensure implementation of PD strategies.
Collaboration & Leadership
Partner with school leadership, grade-level teams, and specialists to build cohesive instructional practices.
Participate in instructional leadership meetings, data chats, and planning sessions.
Support family engagement initiatives by providing instructional workshops or materials.
Performs other duties as assigned in support of instructional programs, school initiatives, and organizational needs.
