Reporting directly to the Demand Planning Manager, this role requires strong analytical and statistical skills, effective communication abilities, and proactive collaboration across multiple departments. Job Responsibilities
- Leverage data analytics to deliver actionable insights and facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives and enhance autonomous processes within supply chain operations.
- Continuously refine forecasting processes to maintain optimal inventory, control costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Identify, quantify, and implement opportunities for operational improvements across the supply chain.
- Collaborate proactively with planning teams to address forecast deviations and supply constraints, ensuring product availability aligns with demand.
- Lead initiatives aimed at increasing forecast accuracy, reducing forecast errors, and minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Design and maintain performance reports, dashboards, and scorecards to monitor supply chain KPIs.
- Support continuous improvement in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process through active participation and effective change management.
- Lead and support special projects that extend beyond core planning responsibilities, supporting cross-functional initiatives that drive operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related analytical field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in finance or operations analysis, preferably involving demand planning or forecasting.
- Strong mathematical, statistical, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ifm in the US.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP preferred).
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (Salesforce preferred).
