Role Description As an Indoor Skydiving Instructor at iFLY Indoor Skydiving in Paramus, NJ, you will deliver safe, high-quality flight experiences for guests while providing exceptional customer service. In this full-time, on-site role, you will conduct safety briefings, demonstrate body flight techniques, and guide guests through pre-flight training and in-tunnel coaching. You will operate and monitor tunnel controls in accordance with safety procedures, assist with gear fitting (helmets, suits, goggles), and ensure all equipment is used correctly and maintained in good condition. Day-to-day tasks also include greeting and checking in guests, supporting group events and STEM field trips, answering questions about the experience, and helping keep the tunnel, gear areas, and common spaces clean and organized. You will collaborate closely with other instructors and staff to maintain a safe environment and uphold iFLY’s standards for exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications
- Experience in high-energy, guest-facing roles such as recreation, hospitality, sports instruction, or outdoor/indoor adventure activities.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests of all ages and backgrounds.
- Ability to learn and apply safety procedures, follow detailed protocols, and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with physical activity, including standing for extended periods, assisting guests with gear, and demonstrating body positions in the tunnel.
- Team-oriented mindset, reliability, and a professional attitude, with willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Interest in flight, action sports, or experiential entertainment; prior coaching or instruction experience is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CPR/First Aid certification and prior safety or risk management experience are beneficial.
