HVAC Project Manager - New Construction
Location: Miami, FL 33132
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $30 - $60 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Project Manager to lead installation teams on new construction projects, ranging from single-family homes to high-rise residential buildings. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep technical knowledge and proven ability to manage schedules, materials, and crew productivity from blueprint to system startup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of HVAC installation for new residential construction projects.
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and layouts.
- Create material take-offs, order pipes, fittings, and equipment.
- Schedule crews and manage daily on-site productivity and workflow.
- Attend project management meetings and serve as the primary field liaison.
- Oversee and perform technical tasks including piping, brazing, troubleshooting, and system startup.
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Organize labor and materials to meet project deadlines.
- Work overtime and weekends as project demands require.
Requirements:
- Proven background in HVAC new construction, specifically residential/high-rise.
- Strong knowledge of copper, PVC, and CPVC piping systems.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and performing mechanical layouts.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- EPA Universal Certification.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
