We are hiring an experienced Freight Forwarding Operations Manager to oversee import, export, and domestic shipments. This role will manage customer accounts from quotation through billing while coordinating with brokers, warehouses, truckers, overseas agents, and operations staff.
Responsibilities:
- Manage air/ocean import & export operations
- Coordinate shipments, customs clearance, and documentation
- Handle billing, quotations, bookings, and client reports
- Ensure compliance with shipping and customs regulations
- Monitor shipment milestones and resolve logistics issues
- Manage and support operations staff
- Maintain strong customer communication via phone and email
Requirements:
- 5 years of Freight Forwarding / NVOCC operations experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong knowledge of AIR & OCEAN import/export operations
- Experience with AES & ISF filing and export compliance
- Understanding of customs regulations and Incoterms
- CargoWise experience is required
- Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Outlook, Excel, and Word
