Payroll & Benefits Coordinator – Full-Time (Hybrid)
Location: Santa Monica, CA (3 days onsite)
Salary: $24–$30/hr
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3–5 years of hands-on payroll and benefits administration experience.
- ADP Workforce Now and Excel required.
- Must have experience working in fashion, clothing, retail, or e-commerce industry.
Responsibilities (Shortened):
- Process and update payroll data, including pay rates, time & attendance, deductions, and employee changes.
- Communicate payroll updates, taxes, and related information with payroll vendors.
- Handle employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile payroll reports (current, MTD, YTD) and coordinate with outsourcing partners.
- Administer benefits: employee enrollments/terminations, broker communication, invoice reconciliation, and updates in benefits systems.
- Support hiring, onboarding, background checks, and new-hire documentation (I-9, payroll forms).
- Manage separation paperwork and vendor coordination.
- Maintain personnel files, HR records, and compliance postings across locations.
- Assist HR Manager with projects and process improvements.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
