Drilling Rig Operator

Location: Kernersville, NC 27284
Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year (Depends on experience)
We are seeking an experienced Drilling Rig Operator to support drilling and construction projects, including foundations, utilities, and environmental installations. The ideal candidate will be safety-driven, skilled in operating drill rigs, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain drill rigs across various project sites.
- Perform pre-operational equipment checks and routine maintenance.
- Follow all safety standards and job-site protocols.
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Coordinate daily tasks with supervisors and crew members.
- Monitor drilling performance and make necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 10 years of drilling rig operation experience in construction or related fields.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Strong understanding of drilling safety practices.
- Ability to read technical plans and documents.
- Physically capable of manual labor and heavy-equipment operation.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
