Building Services Technician

Position: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location: West New York, NJ
Pay: $24 – $26 per hour
Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated maintenance professional to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role combines hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including electrical troubleshooting using logic controllers and ohmmeters.
• Fabricate and maintain components, including metal and wood.
• Assist with painting projects and facility renovations or upgrades.
• Provide guidance and training to junior maintenance staff.
• Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Experience & Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Experience in maintaining residential communities, luxury/high-rise buildings, HOAs, and commercial properties.
• Knowledge of electrical maintenance, painting, and fabrication.
• Leadership experience, including training junior staff.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade certificate or associate degree preferred.
• Driver’s license preferred.
