Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Monitor and enforce food safety and quality standards (GMP, HACCP, FSMA, SQF/BRC)
- Perform routine quality checks on raw materials and in-process production
- Operate and monitor quality control processes on production lines (including extraction processes)
- Conduct laboratory testing and sensory evaluations to ensure product compliance
- Maintain accurate documentation and quality records in line with regulatory requirements
- Investigate product deviations and quality incidents, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support the development and continuous improvement of SOPs and quality procedures
- Partner with production teams to promote quality best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of experience in food manufacturing quality assurance or quality control
- Knowledge of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, FSMA, SQF or BRC)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to perform basic math and interpret data accurately
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed
- HACCP, PCQI, or SQF Practitioner certification
- Experience with ISO 9001 / ISO 22002 standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
