Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Perform standardized laboratory tests to support quality assurance, research, product development, and application innovation.
- Analyze raw materials and finished products in accordance with established testing procedures and specifications.
- Conduct routine equipment verification and perform basic maintenance to ensure accurate and reliable testing results.
- Ensure proper identification, handling, storage, and traceability of all laboratory samples.
- Prepare reagents, media, and other laboratory supplies required for testing activities.
- Apply basic aseptic techniques and laboratory best practices to maintain testing integrity.
- Utilize the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and Microsoft Excel to accurately record, manage, and retrieve testing data.
- Maintain laboratory housekeeping standards and complete sanitation activities according to the master sanitation schedule.
- Support special projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and additional Quality Control activities while adhering to all safety and food safety requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working in a laboratory, quality control, manufacturing, food, ingredient, or related environment preferred.
- Ability to follow written procedures and accurately perform standardized testing methods.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory practices, sample handling, and aseptic techniques.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and computerized data management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality standards.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow safety, quality, and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) requirements.
- Experience working with a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Previous experience in the food, ingredients, flavors, fragrances, or consumer products industry.
- Knowledge of microbiology testing, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
