Essential Job Functions
- Using provided tickets, pull boxes of products needed to ship, scanning each pulled box.
- Communicate via telephone and email with customers.
- Review order in computer, correcting any discrepancies.
- Notify warehouse personnel when products are ready for shipping.
- Stack boxes of products not yet ready to be shipped in appropriate locations.
- Review and adjust inventory using computer software.
- Assist other personnel as time and knowledge permit.
- Participate in training and meetings as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend over a 10-hour period.
- Must be able to work both planned and unplanned overtime.
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to work professionally as part of a team with other department employees.
- Must be able to comprehend and perform duties using established work and safety procedures.
- Must have good customer service skills.
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Must have working knowledge of computers.
- Must perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workloads.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- On-the-job-training will be provided.
