As an accounting intern you will gain hands-on experience working alongside our finance team in areas such as financial reporting, budgeting, analysis and process improvement. This internship is designed to provide exposure to the daily operations of a finance department while building practical skills for your career.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with monthly financial reporting, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Support preparation of budgets, forecasts and management presentations
- Conduct research and data analysis to support business decisions
- Partner with cross functional teams to gather and validate financial data
- Perform other finance-related projects assigned
Qualifications:
- A college student working on pursuing a degree in an Accounting Bachelor’s degree program.
- Junior or Senior academic standing.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and business information and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to work in a MS Windows environment, to work with your department’s business applications and with standard current computer applications.
