About The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electrical technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential electrical systems
- Learn and follow all safety procedures, proper tool usage, and electrical building codes
- Support job site setup, cleanup, and material handling
- Report to the Education Center on time each workday
- Assist with daily setup, cleanup, and general Education Center maintenance during non-class weeks
- Maintain excellent attendance and reliability, as consistent presence is essential to success in this role

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in the electrical trade
- Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions, work effectively as part of a team, and maintain an organized work environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Prior vocational training, construction experience, or hands-on trade exposure
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and climb for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in various environments, including indoors, outdoors, and in confined spaces such as attics or crawl spaces
- Ability to work at heights using ladders or lifts
- Manual dexterity to use hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Paid training and mentorship in the electrical trade
