IES Residential is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Plumbing Warehouse Associate to join our team in the residential new home construction industry in the Austin, TX area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring that plumbing materials, equipment, and tools are properly stored, tracked, and distributed to support HVAC and plumbing installation teams working on new home construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of plumbing materials, tools, and supplies used for HVAC residential construction projects.
Receiving & Shipping: Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring that all items are accounted for, properly stored, and in good condition. Prepare materials for shipment to job sites as needed.
Order Fulfillment: Pull and prepare orders based on project requirements. Ensure that the correct plumbing equipment and parts are selected for installation teams working on construction sites.
Stocking & Organization: Organize and restock warehouse shelves, keeping materials clearly labeled, easily accessible, and organized for efficient retrieval.
Tool Maintenance & Safety: Ensure that all tools and equipment are well-maintained and safe for use. Report any issues with tools or equipment to management for repair or replacement.
Quality Control: Assist with inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment for material handling, lifting, and transporting items throughout the warehouse.
Customer Service Support: Work closely with the project managers and field teams to ensure that plumbing materials and equipment meet project specifications and are available on time.
Cleanliness & Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials, and ensure proper documentation for tracking purposes.

Specific Qualifications
- Entry level knowledge of operating warehouse machinery and equipment
- Self-motivated, positive in approach & professional
- Promotes the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.
- Experience with cycle-counting, order picking, shipping, receiving and operating a forklift (preferred)
- Must be able to work at heights, off of a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.
- High School diploma or GED equivalency.
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience
- Must have a basic understanding of operating systems (SAP, Spectrum).
- Must be able to meet Company minimum driving standards.
