Plumbing Supervisor Superintendent

 

KEP Electric is hiring for a Plumbing Superintendent Supervisor in the Cincinnati area!

 

As a Plumbing Superintendent, you will oversee all aspects of plumbing operations for residential construction projects. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that plumbing installations are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. You will manage a team of plumbers and subcontractors, coordinate project schedules, and maintain effective communication with project stakeholders to achieve project goals.

 

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to plan and schedule plumbing installations according to project timelines and specifications.
• Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing layouts and requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise plumbing crews and subcontractors to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
• Provide guidance on plumbing methods, techniques, and best practices.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify that plumbing installations meet building codes, regulations, and project requirements.
• Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to uphold standards of workmanship and material usage.
• Manage inventory levels, monitor material costs, and ensure timely delivery to support project schedules.
• Maintain clear and open communication with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders regarding plumbing progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Promote and enforce a culture of safety among plumbing teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, regulations, and best practices.

Specific Qualifications

 

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Superintendent or management experience.
• Thorough knowledge of residential plumbing systems, codes, and installation techniques.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Plumbing Tradesman or Plumbing Journeyman License required.
