Mechanic

IES Commercial, Inc. - dba IES Electrical, is seeking a full-time Mechanic in our Holdrege, Nebraska shop. $2,000 Hiring Bonus Applies!

Job Summary

• Maintain, inspect, diagnose, and repair our diesel engines and heavy equipment at Holdrege shop and various jobsite locations.
• Perform hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair.
• Install new equipment.
• Interpret manuals, blueprints, electrical, and hydraulic schematics.
• Responsible for inventory- researching parts in manuals, ordering and receiving parts, and returning unused parts to vendors.
• Maintains equipment records and DOT inspection forms.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Some travel may be required.
  
  

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of recent related experience preferred
• Experience with engines/heavy equipment/hydraulics
• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid motor vehicle driver's license.
• OSHA-10 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
