IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, is seeking a full-time Journeyman Electrician for substation work in the South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri areas. $3500 hire bonus applies and per diem as eligible.

Job Summary
- Works under general direction of job foreman and other project supervisors.
- Perform power and control wiring of substation equipment and the control house in accordance with project drawings and details as well as electrical codes.
- Install substation equipment, conduit and grounding.
- Perform or assist with other substation tasks such as welding, pipe bending, concrete forming and finishing, erection of steel structures and material handling.
- Works from all types of ladders and personnel lifting equipment in accordance with safety standards.
- Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
- Completes other duties as directed.
- Travel required.
- Valid State Electrical Journeyman's license
- High School diploma/GED.
- OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check when applicable per customer contract requirement.
