Job Summary
- Oversee Substations, Transmission, and/or Distribution projects to meet contractual adherence.
- Develop and manage the project budget, financial tracking, and owner billings.
- Develop and maintain the master project schedule.
- Coordinate construction efforts with Management and site supervision.
- Subcontract administration to ensure subcontractors meet scope, schedule, and budget.
- Manage material procurement to support the project schedule and budget.
- Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.
- Responsible for Change Management.
- Manage quality and productivity of crews and ensure efficient use of materials & equipment.
- Interface with clients, AE representatives, and others on the project site.
- Maintain client relationships to foster long term client satisfaction with IESCI.
- Provide feedback to estimating.
- Assist with adherence to the IESCI safety program.
- Travel may be required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management
- Minimum 2 years experience with substations, transmission line work, or distribution work required
- Knowledge of utility line and substation safety.
- Proficient computer skills and experience utilizing MS Office (EXCEL/Word/Power Point/Microsoft Project).
- Valid motor vehicle operator’s license
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test, background check and MVR check.
