Data Entry Specialist

Location: Springfield, OR (On-site, in person)

Job Type: Full-time

Data Entry Specialist is responsible for using various tools and software to complete data entry activities. Responsibilities include document conversion using basic script, HTML coding, and customized software to ensure project timelines are met responsibly. This position requires the ability to work individually and as a team member, interaction with clients, and the ability to maintain good working relationships between the team and the client.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performs custom data entry, integration, and data conversions.
  • Monitors, tracks, and documents data customization activities in a custom data management system.
  • Performs process analysis to ensure technical and application components meet our client requirements.
  • Ensures all data issues are entered, tracked, and updated during the testing cycle.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, data reviews and bug fixes.
  • Executes the testing and review process necessary to ensure that all applications or technical environment meets performance and business requirements.
  • Corrects data using custom modification software.
  • Communicates to the client and other internal co-workers on the progress of the projects.
  • Meets scheduled project timelines.
  • Finds data bugs, root causes and track them while recording and informing others of all appropriate and relevant info.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in media design or computer science or a minimum of one year custom data entry experience or a combination of similar education and experience.
  • Strong understanding of software/data principles and practices sufficient to manage software system data projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Basic working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, leadership, verbal and written communication skills required.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
