This temporary position will assist the full-time Editorial Support and Production Assistants with providing administrative and editorial support to editorial staff, preparing editorial materials for entry into production systems, providing trafficking and processing support to coordinate timely receipt of author-supplied files, and providing administrative support for other areas within Publishing Operations, as needed.
Candidate must have excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills. Proficiency in word processing and database systems required. Candidate must be able to solve problems effectively so as to meet quality requirements and scheduled deadlines. The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines, along with the ability to work independently, are required. This position is supervised as needed by the Manager, Digital Assets & Editorial Support.
