Nurse Practitioner

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Gastroenterology provides comprehensive patient care under physician supervision at a clinic in Lubbock, Texas, working 2 days per week.

• Assess, diagnose, and manage gastrointestinal and liver conditions, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications, educate patients on disease management, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical, ethical, and legal standards.
• Requires a Master’s in Nursing, an active Texas Nurse Practitioner license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience. Gastroenterology experience is preferred.
• Work involves on-site clinical duties, standing, and possible patient lifting, with exposure to biohazardous materials.
