We are a growing provider of psychiatric and psycho-social services supporting over 600 long-term care facilities across the Midwest, with expanding operations.
Immediate part-time openings are available for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing or interested in geriatric psychiatry in Akron, OH.
Qualifications include an accredited NP or PA degree, valid state license, DEA#, and strong communication skills. Experience with mental health care delivery and interdisciplinary collaboration is essential.
Benefits include flexible daytime hours (M-F, no weekends or on-call), autonomy, dedicated support staff, and advanced clinical systems. Responsibilities involve evaluating, diagnosing, and treating geriatric patients, prescribing medications (excluding therapy), and collaborating across disciplines. Prior geriatric mental health experience and Medicare knowledge are a plus.
Compensation starts at $56/hour, with benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. Minimum four years of NP or PA experience required. We are an equal opportunity employer.
