What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position at IDS Health, Inc?
This part-time position requires a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 2 years of experience, preferably in pain management, to provide compassionate, comprehensive care to qualified patients in both Suffolk and Chesapeake, VA.
- Conduct patient interviews, physical exams, and review imaging to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Order, interpret diagnostic tests, and educate patients on results and management.
- Prescribe therapy and medications following guidelines, and assist with pain management procedures.
- Document visits thoroughly, address patient questions, and ensure compliance with licensing and practice protocols.
- Must be licensed in VA with an active DEA, willing to travel/relocate to Suffolk, VA.
- In-person work hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
