Seeking a full-time or part-time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Disease. The role involves assessing and examining patients, diagnosing and treating conditions like heart failure, hypertension, and arterial diseases, and ordering diagnostic tests. Responsibilities include performing Venous Interventions, interpreting electrocardiograms, stress tests, and Doppler studies, and making specialist referrals. The provider will educate patients on cardiovascular health, assist with invasive procedures, and provide pre- and post-operative care. Additionally, participation in research, quality improvement, and health policy initiatives is encouraged.
Work is split evenly between hospital and clinic settings, with a standard day shift Monday through Friday. Candidates must hold APRN and RN licenses, ACLS certification, and have at least one year of cardiovascular experience.
