IDR is seeking a Tax Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Franklin, Tennessee. Position Overview for the Tax Manager:
- Prepare and document income tax provisions following ASC 740 standards
- Collaborate with tax outsourcing partners to prepare federal, state, and local income and franchise tax returns, estimated payments, and extensions
- Develop and maintain periodic cash tax forecasts based on future pretax income estimates
- Assist with federal and state tax audits, including drafting responses and gathering necessary information
- Research federal and state tax issues and current legislation impacting the company
Requirements for the Tax Manager:
- 5 years of tax experience (flexible for the right candidate)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s degree preferred
- Previous leadership or people management experience is a plus
- Strong Excel skills are required; Oracle experience is preferred
- Ability to work in a hybrid schedule, with 1-2 days in the office per week
