Lead Developer Generative AI / Python

We are seeking a Lead Developer Generative AI / Python to design and deliver enterprise AI solutions that improve developer, analyst, and data scientist productivity. This role combines hands-on Python development, cloud engineering, and technical leadership to build scalable applications and integrate Generative AI into enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Python applications, services, and tools supporting enterprise data and AI workflows.

• Build GenAI solutions using prompt design, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector stores, and AI agents.

• Develop and scale cloud applications, preferably in AWS.

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into secure, high-impact solutions.

• Mentor developers and promote AI adoption through knowledge sharing and technical guidance.

• Improve development workflows through automation, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and CI/CD.

• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and apply them to practical business use cases.

Required Qualifications

• 6 years of professional software development experience with strong Python expertise.

• Hands-on experience applying Generative AI patterns, including RAG, embeddings, vector stores, prompt design, and agentic AI.

• Experience building data-centric services and tools within a data engineering organization.

• Understanding of enterprise data systems and the challenges of developing applications around them.

• Proven experience building and scaling cloud solutions; AWS preferred, with other cloud platforms considered.

• Solid DevOps experience, including Infrastructure as Code, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Ability to lead technical delivery, mentor teams, and stay current with emerging AI capabilities.

Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
