Position Overview/Responsibilities for the IT Project Manager:
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from definition through implementation, ensuring adherence to scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and drive project milestones, while establishing effective communication with the project team and key stakeholders.
- Provide day-to-day direction to project resources and ensure effective change management throughout the project.
- Prepare documentation, status reports, and budgets, while maintaining excellent communication and leadership skills.
- This is a long-term contract position, fully onsite, with potential travel requirements depending on project needs.
Required Skills for IT Project Manager:
- Proven experience in healthcare IT implementations and network standardization, including infrastructure upgrades and telecom.
- Strong IT project management skills with a focus on end-user technology and collaboration platforms such as Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.
- PMP certification is preferred, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Project, Visio, Excel, and Word.
