This role involves collaborating with IT and business leadership to optimize systems strategies and support large IT projects within a dynamic organization. Position Overview for the Business Systems Analyst:
- Summarizes the role of supporting IT solutions and large projects across various organizational teams.
- Involves capturing business requirements, initiating IT projects, and leading analysis efforts.
- Coordinates project phases from ideation through all aspects of the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC).
- Ensures security policies are enforced and systems are compliant with security standards.
- Flexes to other tasks as problems or opportunities arise, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements for the Business Systems Analyst:
- Experience supporting IT solutions and large IT projects
- Experience integrating data and/or transactions between applications including data modeling, governance, and data querying
- Experience preparing business requirements documentation
- Knowledge of ITSM, PMLC, and SDLC concepts and practices
- Ability to work successfully remotely/virtually and within a geographically distributed team
