Opportunity
Ideatek is seeking an Inventory and Logistics Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing all Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) inventory to ensure accurate tracking, optimal stock levels, and timely availability for operations. This role oversees new equipment receiving, customer returns, refurbishment, and defective equipment processing, including vendor RMA coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and accurately log new CPE shipments (modems, routers, set-top boxes, ONTs, etc.) into the inventory management system.
- Maintain organized, clearly labeled storage shelves to ensure efficient access.
- Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Receive and process CPE returned from customers due to service changes or terminations.
- Inspect returned equipment for physical damage and perform basic functional testing.
- Clean, sanitize, reset, and prepare functional equipment for redeployment.
- Update inventory records to reflect accurate equipment status (deployed, returned, functional, defective).
- Identify, isolate, and quarantine defective or non-repairable equipment
- Initiate and manage RMAs with equipment manufacturers and vendors
- Prepare, package, ship, and track defective equipment through RMA completion
- Maintain detailed records related to inventory accuracy, RMA activity, and equipment trends.

Experience & Knowledge Required
- 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics.
- Experience using inventory management or ERP systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
- Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with no restrictions
Preferences
- Previous experience in telecommunications.
- Basic understanding of CPE hardware (modems, routers, ONTs, etc.)
