A growing company in the construction industry is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong accounting and billing experience who understands the unique financial processes within construction. Construction industry experience is required for this role.
We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on experience in:
- Bookkeeping
- Accounts Receivable
- Construction Invoicing
- Pay Applications
Important: Candidates must have direct experience with pay applications. This is a non-negotiable requirement for the position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions
- Handle accounts receivable and collections
- Prepare and process construction invoices
- Manage and submit pay applications accurately and on time
- Track billing schedules and payment timelines
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project billing processes
Ideal Candidate:
- Prior bookkeeping and AR experience
- Strong construction accounting background
- Experience with construction invoicing and billing cycles
- Deep understanding of pay applications
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Compensation:
- Target salary: $60,000- $70,000, depending on experience
Work Environment:
This role offers hybrid flexibility, but candidates should be comfortable working in-office initially for training and onboarding.
