Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and touch-up paint using airless paint spraying equipment and hand tools.
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel alignment, welding, and heavy lifting as needed.
- Use buffing machines and polishing techniques to achieve a flawless finish on painted surfaces.
- Conduct auto glass replacement and repair to restore vehicle integrity after bodywork is completed.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs and estimates.
- Assist with auto restoration projects by utilizing mechanical knowledge, auto estimating skills, and detailing expertise.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in auto body repair, auto painting, or dealership settings is highly preferred.
