Responsibilities
- Diagnose and assess vehicle damage accurately to determine necessary repairs and estimate timeframes.
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal work using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and fabrication skills to repair or replace damaged metal components.
- Remove and install auto glass with precision, ensuring proper sealing and alignment.
- Carry out vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto restoration projects, and assembly work as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate effectively with customers about the scope of work and estimated completion times.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal fabrication, and auto painting techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and auto body equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, auto restoration processes, and automotive repair standards.
