High School Science Teacher
Position Overview
We are seeking dynamic and results-driven High School Science Teachers to deliver rigorous, engaging instruction in courses such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Environmental Science. The ideal candidate is committed to ensuring students develop strong scientific knowledge, critical thinking skills, and the ability to apply concepts through inquiry, experimentation, and real-world connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily science lessons aligned to curriculum and standards
- Design and facilitate labs, experiments, and hands-on learning experiences
- Build students’ understanding of core scientific concepts and practices
- Use a mix of direct instruction, inquiry-based learning, and guided practice
- Regularly assess student understanding and adjust instruction based on data
- Provide targeted support to students who are struggling
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
- Create a structured, engaging, and well-managed classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leaders to improve instruction and student outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Science or related field preferred
- Experience teaching high school science preferred
- Strong content knowledge in one or more science disciplines
- Commitment to working with students from diverse backgrounds
Salary : $63,000 - $128,000
