SEO & AI Search Strategist

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an SEO & AI Search Strategist. You'll own the search and AI visibility side of our Core SEO & AI Program — the engine behind how our clients get found across Google, Bing, ChatGPT, Gemini, and other emerging platforms. Day to day, that means conducting SEO audits, executing keyword and entity research, implementing on-page optimizations, and building out link strategies that support both domain authority and AI discoverability. But the most important part of the role is integration: connecting SEO and AI optimization signals with the earned media and content work our PR and content teams are driving, so everything functions as one coordinated visibility system rather than a set of isolated tactics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with keyword and entity research, including an understanding of how search intent connects to content strategy and AI platform inclusion
• Ability to conduct thorough SEO audits and translate findings into prioritized, actionable recommendations
• Experience with link-building strategies — particularly approaches that intersect with earned media and digital PR
• Comfortable in web analytics platforms (GA4, Search Console, and similar) and able to track performance against meaningful KPIs like rankings, AI inclusion rates, backlink acquisition, and share of voice
• Solid grasp of on-page SEO: metadata, content structure, internal linking, and technical fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and a genuine interest in how generative AI platforms surface and evaluate brand authority
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; you can connect data to strategy without getting lost in either
• B2B experience is a real plus, especially in technology, manufacturing, or logistics
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field

Salary Range

$90,000–$120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement benefits.
